AATi Completes Fabrication of Novel Grid Anode Plates for Zinc Electrowinning, Advancing to Manganese Dioxide Coating Phase

[Baoji, China] – May 16, 2026 – AATi, a trusted supplier of advanced electrode solutions for hydrometallurgical electrowinning processes, is pleased to announce the successful completion of leveling and welding operations for a new batch of grid-type anode plates designed specifically for zinc electrowinning applications.

The newly fabricated grid anode panels have undergone precision flattening and structural welding to ensure strict dimensional accuracy, mechanical stability, and uniform current distribution-critical performance criteria for efficient zinc electrowinning operations. With mechanical fabrication fully finished, the grid anode assemblies are ready for immediate transfer to AATi's dedicated coating workshop for the application of a high-performance manganese dioxide (MnO₂) surface coating.

This specialized surface coating enhances electrochemical activity, improves oxidation resistance, and extends service life in aggressive zinc electrowinning electrolytes. Upon completion of the coating process, the finished grid anodes will be precision-welded to titanium-clad copper (Ti-Cu) current-conducting beams to form fully integrated anode assemblies.

The completed, ready-to-install anode units will then undergo final quality inspection and preparation for direct shipment to the customer's production facility, supporting seamless commissioning and uninterrupted hydrometallurgical operations.
