Plate Body: AATI's specially customized 316L stainless steel material

Targeting the high-temperature electrolyte environment of copper refining, AATI has strategically partnered with TISCO to launch a 316L stainless steel plate that effectively enhances the alloy's resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. It can withstand long-term erosion from acidic electrolytes above 80°C, while possessing excellent mechanical strength and structural stability, effectively resisting stress impacts during electrolysis and preventing plate deformation and damage. Furthermore, the surface roughness is precisely polished to ensure uniform electrolytic copper deposition, significantly reducing peeling difficulty and improving the surface quality and grade of the finished cathode copper.

 

Edge Protection: Three-Sided PPO Insulator Edge Strips

The product features PPO (polyphenylene oxide) insulator edge strips on three sides of the cathode plate. This design perfectly meets the usage requirements of high-temperature copper electrolysis workshops:

 

1. High Temperature Resistance: AATi's PPO raw material boasts excellent heat resistance, with a continuous operating temperature up to 120℃, fully meeting the requirements of electrolyte temperatures exceeding 80℃. It will not soften, deform, or age and crack under high-temperature environments.

 

2. Dual Insulation and Corrosion Protection: This PPO insulator edge strip possesses excellent electrical insulation properties, effectively preventing short circuits between the cathode plate edge and other components of the electrolytic cell, ensuring the stability of the electrolytic electric field. Simultaneously, PPO material is resistant to acid and alkali corrosion and does not react with the copper electrolytic electrolyte, providing all-around protection for the cathode plate edge and extending the plate's service life.

 

3. Stable Clamping Design: The clamping strip uses a snap-fit structure to fit tightly against the cathode plate, ensuring convenient and secure installation. It is unlikely to detach during dynamic operation of the electrolytic cell, maintaining stable protection over a long period. AATi will ship the product after the clamping strip and cathode plate are fully installed, allowing customers to directly install it in the cell upon receipt.
